Was I supposed to do something more than post here to join the woman-only subforum?

Now you have to wait for the forum owner to notice and add you to the list.  How long that takes depends on how busy he is with non-forum life.  If this takes more that a week, it is reasonable to send him a PM to call it to his attention.

Add me too, please!

Added!

I missed it on the 2nd, saw it a few days later on mobile, and then forgot about it.  (It's easy to add on desktop, not so much on my phone).

Sorry!

If you want almost anything done within a quick-ish timeframe, it's almost always better to shoot a PM.  :D

If you identify as a woman, yes.

This made me curious so I looked it up.  "Tatum" was originally a girl's name and recently started being used as a boy's name too.  This is a very rare linguistic pattern.

You could have looked up Clare at the same time.   ::)

Clare is also a name used for both men and women.  I think this one was the more common pattern of starting as a boy's name and later being used for girls.  Ashley and Leslie are like that too.
