The fossil skeleton of a bird with strange teeth has been discovered in China. This bird had bizarre ridges on its teeth that may have enabled it to crack open hard shelled insects and snails.

Birds are already creepy enough without having teeth. :(

Is this just a serated bill or is this bird a thecodont ie having a tootht hat sits in a socket?
