Speaking of leaving forums...
« on: August 23, 2013, 02:21:25 AM »
I'm either taking a break, going into lurker mode, or throwing in the towel at Cathinfo.

Yeah, yeah.  I know it's another forum.  But it's an issue of mine I want to share with a few folks I've known here for almost half a decade, going back to the Fisheater forum.

Perhaps I'm going mad and I was wrong.  Dunno.

I wish there was some outside perspective on this matter.  That's why I halfway feel comfortable posting the news here, where a lot of internet colleagues have come to.  But since discussing other forums is taboo here, I guess that perspective will be stifled in short order.  And I guess that is why I halfway feel uncomfortable posting the news here.

Here's a link to my evening's decision:

Well, whatever.
"Evil smells weakness, and the weak can smell evil."  -Me

"Silence is complicity."  -Me

"The most evident mark of God's anger, and the most terrible castigation He can inflict upon the world, is manifest when He permits His people to fall into the hands of a clergy who are more in name than in deed, priests who practice the cruelty of ravening wolves rather than the charity and affection of devoted shepherds. They abandon the things of God to devote themselves to the things of the world and, in their saintly calling of holiness, they spend their time in profane and worldly pursuits. When God permits such things, it is a very positive proof that He is thoroughly angry with His people and is visiting His most dreadful wrath upon them."

What happened to Greg was rather unfortunate, and we appreciate your thoughts, but I don't want to let a Forum War even get the potential of starting here.

I hope you understand, Laramie. Thread locked.
