Will we band together for a special SD Lent?
« on: February 09, 2021, 03:40:11 AM »
I've been thinking about me lenten offerings but I was wondering if my fellow SD members would like to sign up for a particular prayer each day for the 40 days and maybe we could ask for a special intention?

I'm in!

Yes, but I'm wondering where I'll get ashes. The diocesan church offering TLM likely would, but their site is down.

Ring St John's and see if they'll parcel some up for picking up.

I think I'll do that. Thanks.

A friend of mine recently threw out some rubrics for me and another. If anyone is interested, I can share. But I am conceding to Dia as to the specifics of the commitment since she started the thread.

Would be delighted if you shared...I love learning new spiritual exercises.

Couldn't we just burn our palm leaves from last Easter?

I did the intentions during November so I would love suggestions from others.

IF not,

For the Reign of Christ the King in our countries, the conversion of evildoers in our Church hierarchy and Governments and lastly for the Truth to be received by our fellow loved ones especially those entrenched in the sin of modernism.

Starting Feb 17th.

and could we all bump each day so it shows up in our 'unread posts' each day as a reminder.  As it happens I'm only coming into SD and GAb each morning as I am limiting my internet to morning only for Lent (its where I keep track of events) so this will be part of my penance this lent.

Please God our lent is especially pleasing to Him 2021
