Now that we are on the topic of Texas, anyone know about a traditional community in Corpus Christi?

Sorry, merchant marine is what you are after.  I'd say the SSPX chapel in Galveston County is a primo pick.  St. Louis used to be good and might still be a good community, if you will be working on towboats.  You might check out New Orleans also.  I wasn't Trad when I lived there, but I know there are various Trad communities around there.

Sanford Florida is growing, but that is away from the coast and near Orlando.  The FSSP has chapels just east of Naples and along the west coast of Florida: Ft. Myers and Venice I believe.  No schools.
Away from the coast? Hey its 2 hrs from one coast to another in Fla! You are never 'away from the coast' in Fla.

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." A Spanish friend of mine went there at least 20 years ago, and he loved the "Texanes" of it; he said that men went to Mass with guns in their belts and had bumper stickers on their pick-ups that read something like "If your not a trad, go to Hell" or something to that effect.

A French priest who administered in Little Rock was charmed by the de rigueur use of chewing tobacco and the pictures of Stonewall Jackson and Robert E Lee.
