She wears slacks.

Are you sure? All the pictures in my search shows her in dresses. Hopefully you are wrong about this.

Yes. Much more proof is needed, Geremia.

She wears slacks.

I bet she drives, too  >:(

Actually, she was the one who drove to her announcement with husband and kiddos in tow. Bad optics for us traditionalists.

Nope they took two cars.

She took some of the kids in a Honda Odyssey and he took Chevy Suburban.

I watched it live.

Yeah, that's what did it. He should have praised her for being a girl. Remember when I said a feminist believes a woman should be judged by masculine standards?  That was taught to her by her dad as we now know.
"But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Jn 3:18)."

"All sorrow leads to the foot of the Cross.  Weep for your sins."

"Although He should kill me, I will trust in Him"

Quote from: dellery on October 14, 2020, 06:13:40 PMShe's probably more competent that 95% of men nowadays
Competent with what?
Quote from: dellery on October 14, 2020, 06:13:40 PMBesides, feminists are not mothers to seven children.
Some feminists can reproduce.

Day 2, Feinstein, seemingly impressed with with Barrett's feminism, asked:
QuoteSenator Dianne Feinstein: (31:11)
You don't have a magic formula for how you do it and handle all the children, and your job, and your work and your thought process, which is obviously excellent, do you?
Amy Coney Barrett: (31:23)
It's improv.
"Improv"? Raising her children is her most important task, and she flippantly says "improv"?

Quote from: Geremia on October 14, 2020, 03:38:12 PMbelieving in her girl-power is not the same as being a feminist.
It is when it's to the belittlement or exclusion of men.

No. A dangerous mistake. If "power" is judged by masculine standards, then it is feminism. Most feminists don't belittle or exclude men. Instead, like Amy, they judge themselves at how much they can be like men. Men are the ideal, the standard in judging themselves.  This is why Amy abandoned her family.

Thank you for revealing this, Greg.  I actually didn't hear about this until after the fact.  Watching much of the three previous days of hearings were almost overwhelmingly shocking to me -- the descent to which the Democratic Party has fallen -- not only in putting Leftist agendas ahead of our constitutional processes, but also in rhetoric, and basic critical thinking (Hawaiian Senator asking ACB if she were a rapist!  In Amy's shoes, I would have been tempted to retort, "No, are you?")  Watching Satan have his fun has its limits for me, so I missed the original clip due to emotional and spiritual exhaustion.

Day 4:
Quote from: Judge Thomas Griffin: (02:58:21)In taking the oath, the judge makes a solemn promise with God as witness that when acting as a judge she will be a different person than when she is not acting as a judge. Robert Bolt's portrayal of Thomas Moore in A Man For All Seasons captures this point simply and powerfully. "What is an oath," Moore asks, "but words we speak to God?" In other words, for a person of faith, the judicial oath is a promise to the nation and God that she will not do the one thing her secular critics most fear, reach for outcomes based on her religious worldview. When wearing the robe, there is no conflict between following God and Caesar. It's Caesar all the way down. I thank you for this opportunity and look forward to any questions that you might have.

Barrett ruled against pro-lifers in Price v. Chicago, a case where "Pro-life 'sidewalk counselors' sued to enjoin Chicago's 'bubble zone' ordinance".
