A fascinating description of Prophet Muhammad by Sheikh Wahaj Tarin, based on authentic ahadith.

Here you can taste and appreciate first hand the awe and reverence all Muslims have for whom they consider to be the most perfect human being to ever have walked the face of the earth. Certainly, we can all admit regardless of religious affiliation, that it is the fascinating description of one of the most profound and important men to have ever existed, one of the key and rare figures that shaped universal history for ever.

Judas was a person that shaped history forever. So was Stalin.

Even though I think that Kreutrittzer went a bit too far (but given the circumstances of the Catholic Church today, I don’t blame him), historical impact is not a measure by which people determine the morality and legitimate cult status of an individual.

At the end of the day, Muhammad was a polygamistic and violent warlord whose theology revived Phariseeism in its true and legalistic sense.

Surely not representative of all Muslims (obviously not, when you have Representative Omar and her absolutely relativistic (and IMO, idiotic) worldview), but Saudi Arabia is so conservative compared to other Muslim regions due to the fact that it’s where Mecca is - it’s where they NEED to hold steadfast to the fundamental principles of Islam; and I know someone there who tried “confessing” his grave sins to an Imam, only for the Imam to be offended and threaten to report him to the authorities to have him killed

In light of the fact that Isaiah 45:5 says that "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God," it doesn't seem that extreme of a statement to say that there is no god besides God.

Isaiah 45:5 makes sense because it explicitly references this being by his name. Sticking in a capital "G" in the English translation doesn't solve the problem with the Shahada if "Allah" is not regarded by Muslims as a specific name. "There is no god but the god" - gee whiz, that's an empty tautology that at best means "there is only one god".
.

In any case, the sense of my sentence and meaning of "Allah" should be perfectly clear in context.

Did you all hear that?

Yes, sadly we all did.

It is not the consummation of Muhammad's marriage to Aisha that is in question here but your juvenile need to mock a sexual act in vulgar terms, just like a high-school teenager that can't come to terms with adult discussion.

It was not a "consummation" of a "marriage", you disgusting man, as if a nine-year-old could even enter into such a union, but the dirty, filthy, evil act of rape of a little girl by a paedophile, and the tearing of her hymen by an old lecher is a graphic fact of this act that only upsets you so because you are, in fact, a crypto-Muslim. "Adult discussion"? Adults do not play doctor-doctor with children, like Mohammed, and force their penises into little girls.

Vetus-

A straight yes/no please...

Have you embraced Islam? Your videos seem to indicate a desire beyond mere educational purposes.

Vetus you posted this below right after abc123 bumped his original question above, that was already bumped three times by us that are still looking for an answer from you.

Should we consider this your answer that you have indeed embraced Islam?

It certainly looks like it.  By the way Vetus, Jesus Christ also walked the face of the earth.  For you to be posting this below, even if you claim you are just posting what Muslims think, you yourself are putting Muhammad before the King of kings, Lord of lords, Jesus Christ.  Shame on you.

Judas was a person that shaped history forever. So was Stalin.

Certainly not even close to the extent of Muhammad.

However, both Judas and Stalin might be worthy subjects of another thread, if you want to create one.

At the end of the day, Muhammad was a polygamistic

So was David.

and violent warlord

So was Joshua.

whose theology revived Phariseeism in its true and legalistic sense.

I'd put it differently: whose theology is an attempt to blend and reform both Judaism and Christianity.

but Saudi Arabia is so conservative compared to other Muslim regions due to the fact that it’s where Mecca is - it’s where they NEED to hold steadfast to the fundamental principles of Islam; and I know someone there who tried “confessing” his grave sins to an Imam, only for the Imam to be offended and threaten to report him to the authorities to have him killed

You've already brought up this example before in this thread. An anecdotal episode about a Saudi cleric, who is most likely from the Salafi school which is itself a new theological movement, does not provide us with a representative sample of Islamic religious orthodoxy or even of human tact. Regardless, the death penalty for certain sins was also prescribed in Christianity for millennia.

It’s very clear that the Old Testament was flawed in aspects of how the Moral Law is executed. We know this because Jesus says so:

“He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.””

The Apostles were not violent warlords nor were they polygamists.

I’m on my phone, and it’s not letting me copy and paste:

But for your Reformation comment - Reform? What Reform? Islam is a mish-mash of Judaism and Christianity, such that you get inevitable contradictions (like how God forbids veneration as idolatry, yet God ordered Satan to venerate Adam; or perhaps how God is absolutely simple to such an extent that there can not be any distinction in the Godhead [i.e., the Trinity is blasphemy], yet for some reason the Koran in Sunni Islam is uncreated). Indeed, even the praxis of Islam you can pick point out from Christianity and Islam - prostrating one’s self repeatedly to worship God was something Eastern Christianity was already doing, as going to any Byzantine Presanctified Liturgy will demonstrate; as is stopping to pray several times a day, as was the Burka, which you can find in Saint Clement of Alexandria’s writings, with mandating of arbitrary Kosher rules and iconoclasm from Judaism.

The only reform I can see are the injections of Docetism (which makes no sense because Jesus isn’t God), and interpretations from later, with Panentheism with Sufism - surely not from Muhammad himself.

If you are arguing a perfection of Christianity in how it’s flawed, I struggle to see how at any level Islam was a more perfect theological and moral religion.

For your last point...while true, there is a Christian dogmatic episode about forgiving repentant people from the death penalty (the Stoning of the Adultress), and it is throughout the Gospel where we see how important forgiveness is to anybody regardless of how far they have fallen, insofar as they realize how far they have fallen. See Prodigal Son. You don’t find it to such an extent in Islam.

Your reply in #65 looks like a deft deflection which a Mohammadin would feel safe stating.

I'm personally not looking for any explanation, just a simple yes/no. If you are a Muslim you should have the strength of your conviction and admit such. If you are a Christian I would think that you would want to clearly state it so others could not misunderstand where you are coming from.

As it is you are coming off as slimy and deceitful. That's a shame since you've always been one of my favorite posters.
