Neocatholics: everyone's a homo but the so-called "victims"
« on: January 05, 2019, 02:28:20 PM »
No, this isn't about kids, and it's not about actual physically forced sexual penetration, also known as "rape", though you wouldn't know it anymore by how that word is thrown around.

Quote
In a shocking reversal, the Vatican reportedly indicated that it deemed the allegations of sexual abuse by Archbishop Theodore McCarrick against an altar boy, found to be credible by the Archdiocese of New York, to be “not credible,” essentially nullifying the grievous testimony upon which the Holy See’s case against the prelate was being built.

The former altar boy, 16 years old at time the abuse occurred in 1972, had testified that in preparation for Christmas Mass at New York’s venerable St. Patrick’s Cathedral, McCarrick sexually abused him in the Cathedral’s sacristy and then again a year later in a lavatory.

“The credible evidence has been dropped because the altar boy went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to solicit sex from McCarrick,” according to James Grein, another man whom McCarrick had abused as a boy. As a newly ordained priest, McCarrick had baptized Grein when he was an infant and then molested him repeatedly for 18 years beginning when Grein was just 11 years old.

“He was 16 years old,” so “he was a consensual adult,” added Grein in his recent interview with Taylor Marshall. “There was no crime.”

Despite the fact that the United States views a 16 year old as a minor, Canon law views a young person of that age as having reached the age of majority.

“The Vatican is attempting to recast the molestation as somehow ‘consensual sex,’” noted Church Militant’s Michael Voris in a video report.

This article and the reactions I've seen to it are just illustrative of my point. From a rational perspective, the Vatican's judgment makes sense, even if its slap-on-the-wrist treatment of sodomites in the clergy is unacceptable, for nobody is denying that the altar boy did go there to solicit sex from McCarrick, and he was, not just according to canon law but according to Catholic moral teaching, able to consent and bear the moral culpability of mortal sin for such an act. A horny little faggot went to Uncle Teddy for some "quality time" and the priest took advantage of the situation, their blood being, as the line in Leviticus goes, opon their own heads - that makes a whole lot of sense to me, but why is this story so difficult for Neocatholic traddies to accept, and why is trying to speak reason to them like banging ones head up against a brick wall?

As for this James Grein fellow who keeps popping up, tears in his eyes and crying about being a perpetual victim, while it is true that McCarrick abused him as a child, it's equally true that this "victim" repeatedly had sex with the priest as an adult and up to his thirties. By any juridical measure these acts were consensual, and by any measure of morality, James Grein is a sodomite, and I say "is" because his incessant blaming of McCarrick and casting himself as a victim even in his adulthood suggests an absence of accepting his own guilt.

But take a note of who is pushing James Grein and these stories: "former" sodomite and Opus Dei mouthpiece Michael Voris.

Is there some way to vomit and actually have it stick to this post.

Is there some way for people like you to take off the blinders and stop treating as innocent children such youths and seminarians who wilfully, manipulated and pressured or not, engaged in the sin of sodomy? Because if anything deserves to be vomited over, it's that.

Take Lifesite News on James Grein:

Quote
According to Patrick Noaker, Grein’s attorney, the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) is charging McCarrick with three distinct crimes in regard to his treatment of Grein when he was a boy: sexual contact with a minor; sexual contact with an adult, since the abuse continued for nearly 20 years; and perhaps most chillingly, soliciting sex from a penitent during confession.

Note that last bit: "the abuse continued for nearly 20 years". That's 20 years after the first incident when he was 11. So the Neocatholics would have us believe that he was still being "abused" at age 32 when he was packing fudge with an eldery Ted McCarrick. Why are Neocatholics lionising this sodomite? Was Uncle Teddy holding a gun to Mr Grein's head? Or is Mr Grein a sodomite doing what sodomites like to do? Whatever crime was committed against the 11-year-old boy James Grein,  the man James Grein, manipulated or not, was not an innocent "victim".

Go to the 31st minute mark and listen to him begin undermining the apostolic authority of the bishops and pope and start talking the language of Bible-based Protestantism, just before he starts to show signs of some serious psychic instability. Yes, yes, he's making many potent points and riding the wave of truth, as the Neocatholic media are in general, but it's what he's mixing in with it and what he's aimign to get out of it that need to pointed out and looked at.

And no, I'm not defending the acts of the clergy. A priest who sodomises a 16-year-old altar boy has no place in the Church and no place in a civilised society.

He was repeatedly sexually abused at 11 year old. You have no idea how much damage that does to someone's psyche and how they think the rest of their lives. Yes, it continued for 20 years but he screwed up that 11 year old so much he couldn't think straight and for your defense you want to point out his Protestant understanding of the Bible?

My cousin lost his faith after being abused, his whole family left the faith and I've tried to speak to him and there wasn't an argument in the world that could go beyond his hurt.

The fact this man is still a Catholic is something we should rejoice at.

You're a smart guy, super intelligent, and I agree with you on almost everything you write on this forum. Take your intelligence and wrap it around a member of the clergy destroying your innocence, your faith, and your understanding of life for years in a vile disgusting act. Do you think you're a sane 18 year old after 7 years of anal sodomy by a cleric? Do you think a little bit of your sanity would be lost almost forever? How do you think you would turn out?

This. Recovering from sexual abuse by a priest at 11 is like taking a sledgehammer to a windshield and trying to glue all the pieces back together.

Creating a topic like this is unbecoming of anyone professing the faith of Jesus Christ.

In an interview with Dr. Taylor Marshall, Mr. Grein indicated that he participates in a Bible Study taught by a Protestant, so I would assume that anything specifically Protestant he says is coming from that.

Also, as was stated above, he was raped by at least one man, repeatedly, as a child.  And not just any man, but one whom came to become an incredibly powerful Catholic priest.  That Mr. Grein is still Catholic(?) is an amazing testament.  In one of his recent interviews he indicated something along the lines of not being in communion with the Church today, but hoping that he will be one day (but that presumably depends upon the clergy getting cleaned up first).

I've come across it time and time again, people whom participate(d) in homosexual activity state that they themselves were raped as young children.  It is not 100% but it seems to be a very high percentage of them were child rape victims.  I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that these traumatic events are so overwhelming that it deeply embeds terrible vices within them that are an immense challenge to overcome.  Given that pretty much everyone struggles mightily with sexual urges in their teens & twenties and that we live in such a depraved culture, one in which generally completely lacks character formation (by parents, society or even the Church) and celebrates vice, it should not be much a surprise that either of these men fell so deeply during those ages, given the abuse they suffered as teenagers.

It is wonderful to see people like Mr. Voris & Mr. Grein return to the Church and fight against their vices.
