Bearded Dragons!
« on: June 30, 2018, 11:00:37 AM »
Sitting here next to Miss Sunshine, my two year old beardy beauty buddy. She just chunked down about seven crickets, three superworms, and four blueberries for breakfast. Anyone else have a beardy?

Pray for the Consecration.

I used to have one. Very illegal in Iceland. He was nice, ate pinkies by the boatload. Miss having one. They make for nice pets.

Now I just have a cat.

I'm sorry Heinrich, but seeing the title of this thread I thought you owned a fire-breathing, city-destroying dragon (with a beard) for real. Mea culpa.

My girl just spent some time in the tomato plants, soaking up some uvb rays in the yard. She got a bath and is now again ensconced in her vivarium. My (miniature) doberman pinscher loves her.

What are pinkies? Amazed that they could live in Iceland. Why illegal there?

I'm very much in Iceland. Yes.

And pinkies? Thats what we called them anyway, they were kinda gross. Frozen baby mice. The bearded dragon loved them, that and mealworms.

Not native to Iceland, dad smuggled one in a fanny-pack through customs. Not sure why they are illegal, everything is illegal here.

Sad.

I was in Reykjavik for 12 hours a couple years ago. Nice city.

Did you go to Landakot? Christ the King Cathedral. Maybe we met, it's a small city after all.

Did anyone else immediately think that the thread was about more trans weirdos?
The royal feast was done; the King
Sought some new sport to banish care,
And to his jester cried: "Sir Fool,
Kneel now, and make for us a prayer!"

The jester doffed his cap and bells,
And stood the mocking court before;
They could not see the bitter smile
Behind the painted grin he wore.

He bowed his head, and bent his knee
Upon the Monarch's silken stool;
His pleading voice arose: "O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a fool!"

I've been to the transit lounge twice.

Great to fly over.  Looks like the surface of another planet.

Retired to Rivendell.

NASA has been doing research here in Iceland as they claim the landscape is similar to that of Mars'. I've never been to Mars so I can't give credence to that claim.
