Can I make an editable "To Do" list, my desktop background?

I need it RIGHT in front of me, and I want to be able to edit it as necessary without having to sift through loads of paper.

Is this possible? If so, how?

As a word of caution, I've not used nor have I examined any of the above software.  Those links are only intended to point you in a direction that may possibly fulfill your needs.

Personally, I just stick memos on the memo pad of my $5 phone.  A quick check indicates that I'm supposed to be sending a couple PDF files to someone that wants to buy some equipment from me.
