Dropped phone in water, bag of rice didn't work
« on: April 28, 2015, 05:47:08 PM »
So, I need recommendations for a new phone.  Not just any phone, this one MUST be water proof.

I don't want this annoyance with a little thing that covers most of the planet's surface and occasionally falls from the sky and makes up the larger part of our bodies which we regularly use to clean and cook called water rendering an expensive device useless.

No, I don't want to buy a water proof (or water resistant, if you're nitpicky about terminology) case for a phone, I want a phone that's already pretty water proof on its own.

Does anyone know of any models?  As long as I can use wifi, text, call, maybe play music, I'm mostly fine with the model.  Don't really care about the operating system.

The Sport models of Galaxy products are pretty un-killable.

If you change your mind on the water thing, Google's Nexus' are awesome

Active, that's it -- not sport.  What's wrong with my brain today?

Sorry.   :-[

Not today -- trust me, I'd know, as I'm highly allergic to that stuff.

This thing looks pretty indestructible. https://www.casiogzone.com/mb/

"All the good works in the world are not equal to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of men; but the Mass is the work of God. Martyrdom is nothing in comparison for it is but the sacrifice of man to God; but the Mass is the sacrifice of God for man." - St. John Vianney
