Apocalypse Prize 2017
« on: April 04, 2017, 06:35:39 PM »
For anyone interested, I just noticed that the Apocalypse Prize (medieval art) contest is back this year. http://apocalypseprize.com/ $10,000 prize

edit - Even for people not interested in the contest, that website is a great resource regarding the medieval style. Unfortunately this sort of stuff isn't taught in school (at least not in the art or art history classes I've taken) so a lot of people these days completely misunderstand the medieval style and just dismiss it as "primitive", completely failing to see it as an objectively higher style of art than the Renaissance and Baroque styles.
