This goes further than how she will opine from the bench.

Just wait till she's attacked for her faith.

Imagine all the Kavanaugh nastiness, except instead of being incited by a sexual assault allegation the nastiness will be incited by Barrett's religious devotion.
Anti-Catholic bigotry will be on full-display and will strengthen the identity of US Catholics and further polarize the civil tensions here away from White vs. Black/Left vs. Right and toward Catholicism vs. The Revolution.

We are creeping toward our rightful place at the vanguard of Counterrevolutionary action.

Good point.  With Kavanaugh they could at least pretend to have a righteous cause, given that rape is evil, but with Barrett they will fully expose their anti-Catholic bigotry.

I've seen the various criticisms posters have made about her, but anyone who is enraging the Left as she does, can't be that bad.

Msgr. Vigano is correct; but that leaves open the question of how can the Magisterium of the Church, which is protected by God from teaching error, teach error?

I knew you would like that.. He didn't clarify and I wonder why? I took it to mean "they cannot be part of the Magisterium" as in the body of teachings of the Church which is often I the term is used.

No. Not the local diocesan parish council meeting, but in France by undescribed male "young men."

The idea is to also find ways of non-compliant compliance to present the mask mandates as impossibly ridiculous and impossible to enforce ....

This.

What about porneia meaning the marriage is not valid as it is a sexually immoral union, e.g., incestous?

That is exactly it - porneia is used in New Testament to describe incestuous and homosexual relationships. These relationships cannot be considered marriage by definition. Therefore, we can conclude that "exception clause" in Matthew does not refer to valid marriage which can be dissolved due to porneia, but rather a relationship which was never a marriage to begin with (hence declarations of nullity in the Catholic Church).

Also, treating "exception clause" in Matthew as allowing for dissolution of a valid marriage (as Protestants tragically do) would make Matthew contradictory to Luke and Mark, who record Jesus as saying that marriage cannot be dissolved, period, without any exception clauses.

It is thus clear that Catholic understanding of Our Lord's teaching on marriage is correct, while Protestant reinterpretation is contrary to the Sacred Scripture.

A good article on this issue http://shamelesspopery.com/does-the-bible-permit-divorce-in-the-case-of-adultery/

Based on the last two, and this being a working mom in the milieu of our Zeitgeist, no, not traditional. She will be a further disappointment.

I think there needs to be a rule against attacking another's "mental" state/character.  In an age of feminism, I guess there is no sting to being called cold hearted and the like, so trolls don't seem to attack in this way.  But, there is an endless number of attacks on the mental state.  Basically, I am in favor of forbidding the accusation that another member is "mentally ill" explicit(and maybe implicit).  It is getting very tired, but it still seems to be the go-to insult.  It just another behavior to add to the list of bad behaviors that are common place here on SD.  How are we going to attract quality members when cursing and slander is the norm?

Examples?

Well I'm not going to condemn moral theology. But it just sounds to me like guesswork rather than "Church teaching".

As for Alphonsus Liguori, I'm a little skeptical after reading parts of his Glories of Mary which sounds outright blasphemous. I don't know anything about his Theologia Moralis.

You don't know much of anything.

One good thing about OD is that the Jesuits don't seem to like them. Father Martin for example. But then I suppose the cliques of the French and Russian revolutions didn't like each other much either.

It's all connected, Frank. Deep State knows no borders, unless it's Israel we are talking about.
