Breaker SD! This is RealPresents...
I am a High-way/Regional truck driver, which means that I am out 2 or 3 days at a time, if not longer, then home at random hours. (explains my avatar, which I will probably change to another truck soon). My bride and our 4 children accommodate this job, for now; I use trucker-talk occasionally to poke fun at myself.  I started reading internet fora as entertainment, then enlightenment, and stumbled upon SD through a link on CI, where I seldom posted...
My user-name is a reference to the tenet of our Faith which I find inter-twined with most of what we (should) believe; also that  which we alone, as Catholics, possess.  I also find that doubt in the Real Presence (indeed, out-right denial) is at the root of much of the present crisis...
My home is in the U.S. mid-west; I have loosely attached my house-hold to an SSPX chapel (we rent our housing...)
I mentioned slot-cars as an interest in my pro-file; I also collect and project 16mm films as a hobby, most recently having acquired a b/w news-reel of the Holy Year 1950.
As my work puts me out-of-town occasionally on a Sunday or Holy Day, I have the privilege of assisting at masses around the country, exclusively those we now call 'TLM', or now-and-then a Byzantine/Chrysostom Liturgy.
Thank-you for having me here on Suscipe Domine; I look forward to getting to know you all, and further benefiting from your collective experiences. On the off-chance I have some-thing to contribute, then I will as time allows....

Exclusively HO at home, although I am known to haunt some store-front operations on lay-overs, (there are 3 in Chicago) for some 1:32 action now and then.  Also, HO are compatible with model trains, which I combine when we live in a large enough space to go all out.  Just to be clear, it is not really my thing: I do it for the children... ;)
Nice Forum, by-the-way... I especially appreciate the access through the mobile app: let me know when it is time for you to pass the hat (basket?)

Haha, very nice.  As a kid growing up, I played with ho slot cars (aurora).  Still have 'em, in fact.  Great toys.  :D.

Never got into the larger sizes, though I've dabbled in rc cars. 

I'm glad to hear you like the forum. :). And yes, the mobile-access is an important part, at least to me.  It untethers me, to an extent, and let's me still post/stay active.
