There's one that could be considered a sex scene, though there's no sex.  There are two scenes that have some pretty explicit sexual dialogue that I have in mind.

The movie also has pretty profane language, though as far as I recall, there is no blasphemy.  The characters are working class Bostonians.

There are some other pieces of dialogue that some may consider untoward, but there are two main ones.
Ps 135

For he was mindful of us in our affliction: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
And he redeemed us from our enemies: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the God of heaven: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the Lord of lords: * for his mercy endureth for ever.

There is also a pretty violent scene towards the beginning. While I think the profane tirade a young lady spews towards Ben Affleck's character(in reference to his "Irish Curse" and lack of, ahem, performance) is superfluous, the violent scene of which we speak is necessary for character development and plot.

Agree.  Though I wasn't actually thinking of that scene (toot, toot!) but of the "give us a kiss" scene in the bar with Skylar, and the baseball mitt part.  But the one you mentioned is nasty as well.

I saw Lincoln this weekend... meh.  There were some really great scenes that only bolstered my conviction that this should have been a biopic on the emotionally complex Lincoln and not a movie about Lincoln's push on Congress to pass the 13th Amendment.  I mean, come on, you have Daniel Day Lewis.  Utilize him.   That being said, DDL was amazing as usual (though I thought Tommie Lee Jones was flat).

Better than Silver Linings Playbook and Zero Dark Thirty, but there's no way it's the best film of the year.
IF I speak with the tongues of men, and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

How was Zero Dark Thirty? Too violent?

I also recommend The Conspirator for a better Lincoln related movie.

I didn't think it was too violent, but I have very little aversion to movie violence.  Zero Dark Thirty was ok, but I thought the acting was lacking, there was little character development, and the ending was lackluster.

I just finished watching Henry V for the first time.
All I can say is: It is on my favorite list.
Non nobis Domine.  Wow. A selfless king.

"Nothing is more miserable than those people who never failed to attack their own salvation. When there was need to observe the Law, they trampled it under foot. Now that the Law has ceased to bind, they obstinately strive to observe it. What could be more pitiable that those who provoke God not only by transgressing the Law but also by keeping it? But at any rate the Jews say that they, too, adore God. God forbid that I say that. No Jew adores God! Who say so? The Son of God say so. For he said: "If you were to know my Father, you would also know me. But you neither know me nor do you know my Father". Could I produce a witness more trustworthy than the Son of God?"  St. John Chrysostom  Sunday Homily

Days of Heaven

Sad, and annoying at times due some of the choices made by the characters, but a very good movie. It does a great job of displaying how sin will completely wreck your life if left unchecked.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Yay, Alex!

It's one of my favorites, if not my very favorite.  I've seen it probably a hundred times.  Can't wait for a blu ray (hopefully some day).

When?  I've been checking blu ray news every week for like, forever.  Nary a sign of it.
