I'm apt to agree with this. My answer is different depending on which system (current or ideal) the OP is talking about. I suspect the OP meant "within the current system," in which case, my vote would be "no."

Women's suffrage? Sure, why not?

It should go without saying, though, that our votes - be them male or female - don't count for much when it comes to shaping our western democratic societies. It's the elites who really rule and govern the affairs of nations, no matter the political system in place.
