There you go, lighting up a pet peeve. Mofo goes around here begging for rep, then goes over there spouting off like rep means something. :dodgy:

Hey, now. Rep is a pet peeve of mine; most of his rep came from being a genuine decent human being, for which I am here to testify.

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." What explains "The 'Thinking' Atheist's" obsession with this humble little forum?  Why have we had nearly ten or more atheists from that site come here?  None of them have come here with good or honorable intentions.  Two of them came being vulgar and crude as can be.

Do you all have so little to do that you can fritter away hours online?  Or what is it?  I don't understand.

They like to be angry about religion. That's why they expose themselves to it, because what else would they do? If they come to another forum and get booted, they feel justified. Remember, they're mostly liberals so they tend to think that forums are democratic places owned by the users and reflect liberal social values. They don't understand that a forum is private property, a private club so to speak. That's why they feel entitled to come here.

Yep. That's it. We're all fat, pimply thirty-four year old dudes living in Mom's basement raging online against the status quo; that is, when we're not invested in a round of World of Warcraft. :D

Nah, this is just something to do over coffee in the morning - hardly hours - and I drifted in here from the thread Zzyzx linked in his intro from TTA. Since he split, prolly will drift right back out.

I think that some of the atheists have come with good intentions.  At any rate, we should assume that people have good intentions until there is strong evidence otherwise.

The intentions behind the errors neither substantially changes the danger, nor our obligation to avoid it.

True, we have an obligation to avoid errors.  We also have an obligation to treat others with kindness and charity, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
