Should we have a new moderator? Or ask our old ones to return?

I don't think one needs a strong theological background. It's simple: if the Church has definitively declared something, then it's not up for debate; discussion is a good thing for those who don't understand, but outright writing against something should be forbidden. If the Church has left the case open, rational debate is fine (even if either side feels like the other side is basically a heretic).

For example: the infallibility of the Pope under the defined conditions: not up for debate; whether or not one can ignore aspects of the papacy in its day to day operations, certainly up for debate. Immaculate Conception: not up for debate; how we are to understand and apply this beautiful truth, certainly up for discussion. etc.

Other than that, enforcement of the rules and responding to reported posts, etc., all very simple. Just requires someone to do it.

Where did all the old mods go? And for that matter where did all the old users? Unless I'm imagining things this forum used to be way more active, now it's about 1/3 Xavier threads (no offence). I guess I have been gone for a while but... what happened?

Louis got a PhD and went on to crushing the dreams of Scott Hahn wanna-be's.

Penelope I believe is focusing on family.

Bonaventure is married and in California, where the Socialist government has blocked access to anything not affirming of the LGBTQAXPFAG lifestyle (actually, he's just busy I think).

AlVetus Muckbar and his cheergirl are bizarre...

You're always the class act, Heinrich.

One of you left out boar, but I'm not quite sure where to stick it.

Heinrich eats boar and wipes his mouth with surah pages ripped from the Quran.

A childish stunt not likely to be performed in the presence of actual Muslim authorities.

I mean... I shot a picture of Mohammed taped onto a Quran, which I then burned, and had it online for over a year with my address and never had a single visit from anyone. So... yeah.
