Hi there! It's been a while.

I've been away from the forum and the trad world for quite a few years now, but I thought I should drop by and see how things are going. There are still quite a few familiar faces around.

I hope all is well with you all and your families. God bless you.

Yours in Christ,

Vetus

It's good to see you back, Vetus.

(I'm a not-so-familiar face with a new name - I was Doce Me on "that other forum")
[Matthew 8:26]  And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.

[Job  38:1-5]  Then the Lord answered Job out of a whirlwind, and said: [2] Who is this that wrappeth up sentences in unskillful words? [3] Gird up thy loins like a man: I will ask thee, and answer thou me. [4] Where wast thou when I laid up the foundations of the earth? tell me if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Jesus, Mary, I love Thee! Save souls!

Salve! Just by your contribution on the the 100 years, I am happy for your presence. God bless Salve. I have a wooden leg.

Greetings.  How did your Russian classes turn out?  Gain any fluency?

Are you Catholic again? Do you still speak with the French Professor? I forgot her Name.

I'm sure that's a joke...as my bunny and I look at one another...
In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

Vetus, no animosity here, trust me, but are you Catholic? Truly not even my business, but if you would be so kind to explain yourself, so we know where we Catholics stand with you. Carleen

Your signature speaks loudly, if you did not know this. The part about justified by works sounds quite Protestant. Just calling it as I see it. Which could very well be wrong, I admit freely. Seemed like the verse protestants use against Catholics.
