Best St Philomena novena

I want to do a good novena to St Philomena that my adult children do an Ignatian retreat.  I need a miracle to tempt them away from the phone for a week.

I'd love if any others adopt my children spiritually and join me in the novena.

Graciously hear me and obtain from God a favourable answer to the request which I now humbly lay before you (here specify your petition). I am firmly convinced that through the merits, through the scorn, the sufferings and the death thou didst endure, united to the merits of the Passion and Death of Jesus thy Spouse, I shall obtain what I ask of thee and the joy of my heart I will bless God, who is admirable in His saints. To be fair, my son went as far as asking his boss for the days off for the novena and boss refused and for fair enough reasons.  So the possibility of doing one is planted in his mind at least.
