Just watched When Worlds Collide (1951).

Hard to imagine my own father and mother watching this cheese at the age of 19.

What a huge change in the world since then.

Lost Internet for a day, so went to the blu-ray shelf yesterday.

Watched one of my all time favorites, The Thin Red Line, and then followed that up with Gladiator, extended edition.

I remember enjoying Moon the first time. Second time, I was disappointed, realizing how ridiculous I was for ever caring about... the type of "person" depicted in Moon.

Similar reaction to District 9. 

I'm not a sci Fi fan to begin with, but one thing that's ruining sci-fi (and fantasy, for that matter) are the not so subtle inclusions of social justice causes.

Just finished watching Mai wei - beautiful war movie.
