QuoteHere are Trump's ten moves to bury the Deep State.

1. "Immediately reissue my 2020 executive order, restoring the President's authority to remove rogue bureaucrats."

2. "Clean out all of the corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus."

3. "Totally reform FISA courts which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they're lied to in warrant applications."

4. "Expose the hoaxes and abuses of power that have been tearing our country apart."

5. "Launch a major crackdown on government leakers who collude with the fake news to deliberately we false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy."

6. "Make every Inspector General's office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee so they do not become the protectors of the deep state."

7. "Ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people, or that they are not spying on someone's campaign like they spied on my campaign."

8. "Continue the effort launched by the Trump administration to move parts of the sprawling federal bureaucracy to new locations outside the Washington Swamp."

9. "Work to ban federal bureaucrats from taking jobs at the companies they deal with and that they regulate."

10. "Push a constitutional amendment to oppose term limits on members of Congress."

Intellectual honesty, item 1 is the big one.  He might also get Item 9 (edit: he owes RFK jr.).  The rest are ok, but kind of general.

Put not your trust in princes, in sons of men in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.

#7-9 are crucial, they'd be steps difficult to undo more so than a "purge" by one president.

#8 Maybe the VP should have his main office outside DC. West coast? Middle America?

#10 Why oppose term limits? Did I read that wrong?

I hope it's impose...
In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

I think it's pretty clear that the military, or a portion of it, has become both corrupted and weakened. Ditto for FEMA and the Secret Service.

Trump insider Mike Davis.  Pretty amazing:

Quote"Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General, I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term," Davis said. "Listen here, sweetheart, we're not messing around this time, and we will put your fat ass in prison for conspiracy against rights. I promise you."

Pretty amazing.  My hope level for "draining the swamp" has gone up.  I was expecting some small moves.  Chris Wray would be gone.  Maybe one or two prosecutions of the most egregious cases, but that's about it.

Trump 2.0 is going to better than Trump 1.0.

There are some really strange parallels here.  And we are looming on a financial crash, which could happen either right before or after Trump takes office.  Will Trump end up moving the capital to middle America as the east coast deep state/financial establishment rejects him???  Or is it just a book? Strange though

I think it is more to do with "4th turning" theory.  Essentially a repeating pattern.  I watched about half.  In the book, the stock market falls with the election.  Our stock market is rising.  So already a difference.

On the looming collapse, the Fed cut 0.75%, which means interest costs are now lower.  And our problem is a political problem.  Eliminate Medicare and Medicaid, and we run a surplus.  Economic problem fixed.  Politically impossible.  Also, when the Ukraine war soon ends, crude oil and other commodities drop in price.  Military demand for them drops, and supply increases.  What happens in the US if crude oil drops to $50/bbls., and gasoline is at $2/gal, and diesel at $2.25?  Fertilizer drops in half.  You're looking at economic growth.

So timing the collapse is difficult.  I put it at 2028 with my back-of-the-envelope calcs.  If Musk actually goes in and cuts a bunch of waste, and if Trump also closes overseas bases and cuts the military, then the date shifts out, or collapse is averted (takes a balanced budget, which I think is politically impossible.  )

I didn't think she had any other cases. He's already been found guilty of fraud, to the tune of millions of dollars.

QuoteI didn't think she had any other cases. He's already been found guilty of fraud, to the tune of millions of dollars.

Everyone knows it gets reversed on appeal.  The NY Appeals Court has been sitting on it until after the election so people will believe Trump is guilty of fraud.  Verdict (TL;DR): Trump valued Maro-Lago at $50 MM.  NYC valued it at $12 MM.  Therefore highly sophisticated banks that made money on their Trump loans, and were paid back in full were defrauded and Trump is fined $450MM.

If NY let's this ridiculous verdict stand, business in NY grinds to a halt.

James knows this and has been running her mouth that she's going after Trump again.

Day one priorities:

  • Immigration: Trump has said he would reimplement on day one his "Remain in Mexico" policy, which requires asylum seekers to stay in Mexico until their cases are processed by U.S. immigration courts.
  • The Wall: He has also said he would resume construction of the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border—something he repeatedly criticized the Biden administration for failing to continue.
  • Pardons: Fire Jack Smith and pardon Jan. 6 offenders. Trump has called the people facing charges hostages and political prisoners.
  • Climate: Trump has said that he will sign an executive order once again withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement, the international treaty which implements the objectives of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. President Biden on his first day in office had brought the U.S. back into the Obama-era accord after Trump had pulled out of it in 2019. Officials close to Trump said the order has been drafted and will be ready for Trump to sign on his first day in office.
  • Transgender Student Protections: In April, the Biden administration unveiled a final set of changes to Title IX to cover discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity for the first time. Trump has vowed to revoke such protections for transgender students the day he takes office.

I'd forgotten about the gay Paris Accords Climatehoax.

In other news, during Trump 1.0 he had a woman in charge of the border.  That ended like you would expect.  He's bringing back this guy as the border czar:

QuoteThis is Tom Homan, President Trump's Border Czar. His message to all the illegals who crossed the border will give you goosebumps, "You better start packing now... cause you're going home."

And to the cartels, he said, "Trump will wipe you off the face of the Earth! YOU'RE DONE, YOU'RE DONE."

Let's hope they film it in 4k

Nothing like a Mexican drug cartel truck getting chased down and vaporised by Gatling gun.

Why on earth does a first world country need to put up with these drug-dealing monkeys?
