In the movie about Bl. Franz Jägerstätter, A Hidden Life, his wife would cross herself not in the manner we normally do (forehead, chest, across the shoulders), but in the manner we do before the Gospel (forehead, lips, heart). Is this something that is done in upper Austria/German Bavaria vs the way we do the normal sign of the Cross, or just something wonky about the film?
