I never bought into 3DD. Also was never a Fatimaniac other than a short stint as a HS lad.

There's no references for the 3DD. No one can provide them.

The few that do reference Yves Dupont's book, which has been proven to be untrustworthy.

Quote from: Kaesekopf on June 01, 2024, 04:13:22 PMI do not think it is a credible prophecy.

Almost every prophecy I've seen (those of Jehenny's, also those of Our Lady of Good Success) are always so dubious sounding, and their sourcing generally comes from like, 1940 and beyond.  That is to say, there's never any clear approbation, but always a cryptic allusion to some earlier text (maybe), but it's just never provable.

Someone posted a vehement defense of MJJ once on the Forum a year or so ago.  I only skimmed it, and it gave a little more credence to it.

Ultimately, though, 3DD is just really shady (pardon the pun).
I thought Our Lady of Good Success was pretty accurate with the heresies flourishing in the 20th century and what not.

Confirming Stubborn's post; our family had blessed candles in all of the bedrooms; plus a "game plan" for when the 3DoD hit; we assumed that we would know ahead of time when it would happen, and we would board up our house like when a hurricane would come (lived in Fla.); If you looked outside during the 3DoD you would die! The devils would try to trick you into opening the door by imitating the voice of one of your family members or friends. I can't remember how we came upon this 'what to do during the 3DoD', but we were ready!
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Yep, same exact here - and the candles had to be 100% beeswax or they wouldn't light lol, but in those times it was all very serious.

Even after a long life of sin, if the Christian receives the Sacrament of the dying with the appropriate dispositions, he will go straight to heaven without having to go to purgatory. - Fr. M. Philipon; This sacrament prepares man for glory immediately, since it is given to those who are departing from this life. - St. Thomas Aquinas; It washes away the sins that remain to be atoned, and the vestiges of sin; it comforts and strengthens the soul of the sick person, arousing in him a great trust and confidence in the divine mercy. Thus strengthened, he bears the hardships and struggles of his illness more easily and resists the temptation of the devil and the heel of the deceiver more readily; and if it be advantageous to the welfare of his soul, he sometimes regains his bodily health. - Council of Trent

I suppose the longer things carry on without anything dramatic happening the more sceptical one becomes. It is only natural I guess.

There's not a single contemporary document, as far as I've found, that lends credence to "Mother Mariana" and her alleged "prophecies" though.

If there is any reference in any document prior to 1980 or even 1930, I'd be more interested in it.

Until then, frankly, it's nonsense.

There's not going to be three days of darkness.  Instead there will be a big flash of white hot light as The Great Comet of Chastisement(TM) enters Earth's atmosphere.

Though the way things are heading in Ukraine, multiple nuke fireballs lighting off is more probable.

Yeah the Akita fire deluge seems to be credible.  I still think we see shapeshifting demons but it will be the cherry on top of a complete sh*tshow, i.e. the fall of the modern world.
