Forum feature - Don't show users' signatures

This came up in the middle of a thread elsewhere, but perhaps it needs a thread of its own.

There is an option in one's profile settings to not show people's signatures.  The steps are: profile - account settings -modify profile -look and layout -don't show users' signatures - change profile.
