He said he will come when the moon turns blood red and the sun black ( eclipse)

He said the signs of his return will appear in the heavens (the sky )
That the sun will shine brighter and the moon will be brighter

He told us when these things come to pass look up ( as in, he's up there )

He said he will come when everything is calm and unexpected, before things kick off

In Thessalonians he said people will want him but he will turn them away

The parable of the ten vigins shows, they know Jesus is about to judge them and there is no more oil (grace)

Daniel 12 talks about the sacrifice ending for three and a half years

Why doesn't the Catholic church talk about this , I feel the bible makes it clear

Because the Church knows Scripture better than you do.
Blessed are those who plant trees under whose shade they will never sit.

The closer you get to life the better death will be; the closer you get to death the better life will be.

St. Phillip Neri, pray for us.

St.Justin

Matthew 12:38 Then some of the Scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying: Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39 But he answering, said to them: *An evil and adulterous generation seeketh for a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, **but the sign of Jonas, the prophet.

Why do you keep talking about this on multiple traditional Catholic forums when everyone keeps giving you the same answer?
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.

Daniel

How does any of that stuff show that Jesus will return "for a period of time"?

The signs in the heavens will be miraculous.

The foolish virgins died without grace.

Three and a half years is the length of the reign of Antichrist.

No, the point of the parable is not to put off reforming your life, thinking you will repent at sometime in the future.
"But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Jn 3:18)."

"All sorrow leads to the foot of the Cross.  Weep for your sins."

"Although He should kill me, I will trust in Him"
