"Moses" just like "Isa" = !Jesus.

At any rate, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is nice if one is on for 20 minute renditions of Qawwali wine poetry songs.

Songs for Saints, "St. Dymphna".  Apparently this is the first in a series of songs about saints by the artist.  The lyrics are in the description below the video.

I really like the first half of this song.  It is too bad the latter half does not live up to the rest.  I want to learn the parts that I like and somehow wrap some repetition and an ending into it.

For the stone shall cry out of the wall; and the timber that is between the joints of the building, shall answer.  Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and prepareth a city by iniquity. - Habacuc 2,11-12

You must play well to want to learn how to play that Philip.

A bootleg "Best of John Barry" CD.  I tend to just grab a bunch CDs from the shelf and leave next to the CD player in the car.

This is the first track.

Benjamin Tod might be the best songwriter of my generation. Hard to say, but he's somewhere in the top 5.

I am getting there.  Song selection of what to learn is a mysterious thing.  There are so many beautiful pieces to choose from.  One has to weigh it all in the balance.  I love the intro to that song, but don't like the rest enough.  And, I don't know if I want to put in the work to learn the parts I do not care enough for in order to honor the song as a whole as one should.

Perhaps that is why I posted this song; some things are an acquired taste, and I just found myself listening to the song over and over again in order to I think acquire the taste.  I also really like the guitarist.  She is a Spaniard!

It would be nice to hear you play sometime.

Shannon Jae Ridout must be friends with Benjamin Tod.  I've noticed the fiddle player on this video on a few of Tod's videos too.

Shannon and her husband Nicholas were in a group (Spit Shine) with Ben and Ashley. Nicholas was Ben's best friend. That broke apart when Nicholas died.

He talks briefly about it in the beginning of this video.

Heinrich, if you see this guy at a gas station, slip him a $20 for me and let me know so I can you repay you.

What a gem of a songwriter.
