The demons within the Church and society

This is not so much a renewal of a prayer request
https://www.suscipedomine.com/forum/index.php?topic=30016.0
as it is an update.

Just as we should continue to pray for our Church leaders -- for their holiness, courage, and leadership in the Truth -- we should remember in our prayers the state of the secular world as well. I was listening to a lengthy (2 hour+, including questions) talk by Fr. Ripperger on Wounds and Healing.  He mentioned many things in this talk, but one thing was his encounter with Beelzebub, I think, who bragged to the exorcist about success in already having "destroyed the Church" and then, following that, having "destroyed your government."  Yeah, no kidding.

Nowhere is this latter success more evident than in the area of sexuality:  pornography, obviously; sodomy and fake sodomy "marriage; and now "transgender" obsession.  I can't begin to recount and lament how prominently this obsession and the "Q" part has consumed American youth.  At the school where I teach, the compulsion to "experiment" and "question" has overtaken the present and future education of my students.

I absolutely do not believe there is anything genuine or organic about it.  It is demonic, including all of the publicity about it. One of my students (female -- a different female than the one I mentioned in Prayer Intentions), and one of my former students (male) have gone off the deep end.  These were formerly excellent, excellent students -- clearly very bright, capable, and communicative in a normal way.  Their priorities were straight:  school and healthy, normative integration into society.  Now the once high-performing female has a D- in my Advanced Placement class, for which I have given her numerous opportunities to make up work, all of which she has rejected. The male -- with an intact and seemingly wonderful family who thanked me profusely last year for my work with him in French -- has become obsessed with his brand new "sexual orientation," complete with earrings and soliciting of another male student, who is now wearing makeup.

My heart wants to break at the toxicity of this all.  The female comes to campus daily only to socialize, never to work, and to insist that no one call her a girl.  Each time she comes, her hair is shorter.  She was the opposite last year.

I think I am being put through this suffering to make me aware that this is a true microcosm of the disorder and perversion that has gripped society at large. This is a modern Passion, and not one willed by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

At this point, all I can hope, when it comes to the student population especially, is that "the movement" -- started by adults -- will become so popular, so soon, that it will no longer be "unusual" and "special" to be "LBGTQ," and thus all this sad attention-craving will be for nought because the competition will make it everyday.

What a state the world is in!  Imagine viewing all of this in the Agony in the Garden.  Come Lord Jesus.   :'(

In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

Indeed what you describe is both sad and (as relates to contemporary society) frightening. And at root I see the LGBTQ agenda as demonic.

I pray daily that my grandchildren are protected from the influence and catastrophic effects of the cultural Marxism that is rapidly gaining control in the West. Their grandparents on my son in law's side support this, even though fortunately he and my daughter do not.

And Friday when I met with my tax accountant (a very competent and kind friend of my late father) I was shocked at how much even he supports the political and "religious" Left.

It would appear that overt anti-Christian persecution is just around the corner. I hope I am wrong.

Indeed we pray for the renewal of commitment of the people to God. Man cannot change this evil but God will do it. This shall happen as Our Lady of Fatima stated such more than a century ago. I agree that the pain of this is severe and all we can do is pray. I just hope that some Churches in my country shall not consider sodomites to be part of those who portray the role of Apostles during Maunday Thursday and Good Friday. I witnessed that 2 years ago. It is the reason I now pray for better Church leadership.

Yes, Merriam M, Father Chad Ripperger preaches about praying. I like him because he does not incite anger against the Catholic leadership despite all these. A very pious man.

I too hope you are wrong; however all the information seems to indicate that those of us who are pro-life,pro-family and pro-God are being targeted.

There is nothing to save in the Former West.  The proper mindset is rebuilding.  In the past it started with Cluny, the same must be done today.  And that means making a goal to get to flyover country, which means setting up so you have a job when you get there.

We are in the midst of a classical jewish Bolshevik revolution.  So yes, open persecution is coming, and is already here.  We already got the leak of the FBI trying to infiltrate Trads.  Expect a Whitmer Kidnapping entrapment plot to smear Catholics.

And changing your mindset to separation and rebuilding is a defense.  There no need for a violent overhtrow, because that would mean trying to save the Former West.  But there's nothing left to save.

And that's why there needs to be "[a new Heaven] and a new Earth."

This week sounds good.

That won't help either.  Look how many of the states have adopted abortion into law since RvW's overturn.  Here in WI we have a judicial election in April, and the satanic left is just thrilled about voting in the pro-abortion candidate and overturning our abortion ban here.  I fully expect her to get in.  Then God's wrath can be unleashed on my state as well.

I have to agree with drummerboy, in that I have read in many sources how far-reaching the demonic infestation has become.  Just look at news stories about school boards everywhere, city council meetings/agendas everywhere. Flyover states are suffering from the same maladies as the blue states are, which is shocking in terms of how rapidly it has spread. There is just no refuge outside of a contemplative Catholic institution.

As what Fr. Chad Ripperger said. this Catholic leadership is the reflection of the kind of Catholics today. We need to look back at how the Israelites were punished by God and their experience of being lead by a corrupt and bad leader during those moments that they turned away from God. We are like that now.

Yes Drummerboy and Meriam, I agree with both of you. Surely this is now the moment when infestation and all the evils are going on. The only way is pray and do all that is good. Stop sinning take that cross. Pray for this Catholic leadership and accept that shame everytime our Pope and the rest of Cardinals speak matters that run in contrast to the deposit of our faith. Offer that pain to God.
