I had the same problem copying images from the rooshv forum. They are protected in some way from being referenced.

What I found worked was to save the image to Google drive and then get a reference from there. There is even a knack to that though.

Yes, it's a private forum and we don't have the rights to view posts from there... You have to download the image and upload it to flickr or imgur or some other place.
