The Maestro

This might be old news to serious traditionalists, but I have posted on my blog about the historical development of the mass and how the New Mass falls outside that development. I have recently been trying to acquire a deeper knowledge of liturgical history and theology, and these are some of the first fruits of my study. Essentially, history shows us what are the essential and defining components of the traditional Roman Mass. The new mass does damage to those components, rendering them no longer essential to the rite, and so the new mass cannot be identified with the traditional rite.
