Otherworldly.

A fantastic composition by Ömer Faruk Tekbilek, the master from Adana. Hasret means "nostalgia" or "longing" and brings us back to the shores of the Bosphorus, to the sounds of the muezzins, the waves, the seagulls, the crowds in the marketplace and the merchants in the bazaars. A cultural monument in its own right.

Didn't the smelly saracens sell Christian souls as slaves dar?

Joiking from Norway with bagpipe and drum music from Latvia

This group has been experimenting with combining Latvian folk music featuring bagpipes and drums with male singers from other ethnic traditions, in this case joik, a singing style of the Sami people of the Nordic countries.

The famous Laplanders.

Coincidentally, they're linguistically related to the Estonians but not to the Latvians.

The setting of that recording(the pond and breezy forest) really makes the song better.  It illustrates what you are leaving behind with such an industrial lifestyle.  Imagine if instead such outdoors were your office?
For the stone shall cry out of the wall; and the timber that is between the joints of the building, shall answer.  Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and prepareth a city by iniquity. - Habacuc 2,11-12
