Looks like she is on a smart phone.

Smartphones back in the day were called missalettes.
DISPOSE OUR DAYS IN THY PEACE, AND COMMAND US TO BE DELIVERED FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION, AND TO BE NUMBERED IN THE FLOCK OF THINE ELECT.

Vetus Ordo

A canon from the Spanish diocese of the Canary Islands with an impressive cappa and a cheeky caudatarius:

DISPOSE OUR DAYS IN THY PEACE, AND COMMAND US TO BE DELIVERED FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION, AND TO BE NUMBERED IN THE FLOCK OF THINE ELECT.

I know that this is kind of cheating because it doesn't come from a specifically Christian "civilization" nor is it a still picture

But, YouTube recommended this, and I'm reminded that I still need to watch this film in its entirety.

This is from a 1938 Soviet Film called "Alexander Nevsky," which involves the famous "Battle on the Ice."

The Battle on the Ice was a major battle where the Livonian Order / Teutonic Order, during a phase called the "Northern Crusades," invaded Novgorod / Russia for expansion, and in an unlikely twist, the Novgorodian Republic repelled them successfully and effectively, ending the Northern Crusades. According to tradition, the heavy army of the Crusaders caused the ice underneath them to collapse, although most historians believe this never happened.

This film was made by world-renowned Soviet Cinematographer Sergei Eisenstein, probably in anticipation of a possible war with the Germans (as the Livonians, who weren't German, are referred to as "Germans" in the film). But it's still a great film, with a soundtrack composed by Sergei Prokofiev, and it captures something that modern films can't with its practical effects.

This part of the film captures the offensive march forward by the Crusaders and the beginning of the Battle.

I might have shown this before, but

This is an illuminated manuscript from the De Lisle Psalter from around the 13th century. This is a picture known as the "Ages of Man" that is about the cycle of life a man goes through, with Christ in the Middle.

From the bottom left, the man is born and nursed. He is then a youth who loves his own looks, combing his hair and looking at the mirror. He is then studying and being educated, as is evident from the scales. He then goes through an age of chivalry, riding on his horse with a dove, looking for the love of a woman. He is then at the "height" of his life, portrayed as a king. However, as he gets older, he puts on monastic garb to represent his abandoning of his previous, youthful lifestyle - literally waving goodbye to it. He has a child of his own which he raises. For the next few phases, he gets sick, dies (his funeral), and ends in the casket.

Looks like a falcon rather than a dove. He is out hunting.

Doesn't look like his child. He is a grey-haired senior imparting his wisdom to a student. This circle parallels the one on the other side, but this time he is the teacher.

Another interpretation I found on-line seems more plausible than mine -- The boy is leading the old man in his decrepitude. In the previous circle the man has a staff, but now he needs assistance to walk with the staff, maybe blind or lame.

Thank you.

I think you make valid points; but I will say that even as he is young he has white hair.
