Good video.  St. Louis de Montfort said we can only come to the Father through the Son and we can only come to the Son through Mary.  A good lesson for Protestants.

Amazing!

I wonder how this priest is doing now and what his feelings toward the TLM are?  It would be interesting to know.

I'd never understood before how important it was to pray for priests, until I read St. Teresa's Way of Perfection. She spells out pretty clearly the dangers that they face, being called to such perfection and yet having to live in the world.  :pray3:

Although he doesn't address it directly, I think this interview he gave is telling. Here is the most interesting, imho, snippet:

"The Church as I saw it was changing. I'm seeing a remnant that is holding on to the traditions and to the doctrines of the Church, and the Church is growing less in numbers. Things are not relevant as they used to be, such as confession, devotions, novenas, Holy Hours, Benediction, perpetual adoration, and prayers for souls in purgatory."

Thank you for posting this. Sometimes we all need a wake up call.

'Since Moses was alone, by having been stripped as it were of the people's fear, he boldly approached the very darkness itself and entered the invisible things where he was no longer seen by those watching. After he entered the inner sanctuary of the divine mystical doctrine, there, while not being seen, he was in company with the Invisible. He teaches, I think, by the things he did that the one who is going to associate intimately with God must go beyond all that is visible and—lifting up his own mind, as to a mountaintop, to the invisible and incomprehensible—believe that the divine is there where the understanding does not reach.'

Can anyone doubt the love our most holy Mother has for us?

Inorite. Gave me shivers. Prayed a real good rosary today, best in a while. May God bless us all with a tender devotion to so good a mother.
Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth: and a door round about my lips. Incline not my heart to evil words.

i was talking with an EMT a while back and asked him if he'd been around anyone who had near death experiences and he knew of one that happened which the EMT who was present told him about.  i think they were working the same shift but on different 'buses' [they don't call them ambulances), probably talked between calls. the man who died and was resuscitated had extraordinary recall of all the details, according to the man i was talking with.  he said he's a Baptist and i sensed that he truly believes.  he has since gone to hear the man speak about his NDE at a religious event, probably a Baptist event of some sort in a city about an hour's drive from here.  having heard it all himself, he was convinced that the man really heard and saw everything while he was dead.

then i mentioned the book a doctor wrote about people whose NDEs shoe them Hell.  he said he didn't personally know of any but he would never forget a man who'd been in a wreck and kept screaming about his feet, 'please do something about my feet.'

he screamed over and over that his feet were on fire but his feet were not injured at all.  he knew that the man died and he'd always wondered if he was feeling the fires of Hell beforehand.  i pray he had a deathbed conversion, a chance for Purgatory instead of Hell.

One of the helpful things from his book is realizing-God didn't have to become a Man through Mary, He chose to, just like He now chooses to have us go to Him through her.  It's helpful when talking to people who don't understand why we pray to Mary.
