To avoiding become part of the media circus who reduces the Church to a political organization, can we have some stricter policies about people forgetting the nature of the Church and becoming false prophets?

We have the Holy Ghost...we do not need speculation.

A bit of self-awareness in everyone posting.

A few guidelines:

  • Do not make dogma out of private revelations.
  • Citations, citations, citations. Many quotes and revelations float around, and frequent quotation does not make it true.
  • Simon was a fisherman. There was no "conservative", "liberal", "neo-quasi", etc. The media sees the Church as a political organization as it is...we should not. The sacraments are not legal conventions, but gifts from God, and we should treat them as such.
  • Cardinals are not political candidates. We can speculate on presidents, MPs, congressmen, Supreme Court appointees, and the like, but speculation on the future Pope is usually futile. Since some here do not accept the current...previous...whatever, Pope, discussing this in detail will be scandalous to many.
