What I learned from this: eat more bacon.

And yet more evidence of the forum's grave need for a like feature.

This too.  I think we should start campaigning for it.

One possibility is simply having everyone quote any post that they would normally 'like' and then reply by simply writing 'like.'

Ps 135

For he was mindful of us in our affliction: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
And he redeemed us from our enemies: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the God of heaven: * for his mercy endureth for ever.
Give glory to the Lord of lords: * for his mercy endureth for ever.

-I retract any and all statements I have made that are incongruent with the True Faith, and apologize for ever having made them-

The Chicago area has some of highest food prices in the country, and very high sales tax

Ugh. Not nice to post during Lent!  ;D Now I really want some bacon. And alfredo. Also some chicken.

But most especially a chipotle burrito.

They're ripoffs. Almost nine bucks for a regular burrito.
Dang. They're not that expensive in ks. It's one of my favourite places to eat even though its a little pricey. I've tried time and time again to make a burrito like chipotles at home. I've gotten pretty close to producing an original tasting product, but its just not the same.  :(

Hubby loves Chipotle burritos and has one just about every day.  His Mom tried the following recipe and thought it was great.  You might try it.

Thank you! I will most certainly give it a try!

I bet just about everything else is cheaper in Wisconsin.  When I lived on the east coast it was like a truck hit me.  I couldn't believe how expensive things were.

Especially alcohol.
