Xavier

Hello friends. I am off for a while. Don't want to be distracted till Easter. Want to spend more time in prayer, reading and spiritual practices. Truthfully, am feeling a bit rusty in my prayer life, and need to work on it. Pray for me. Will be praying for the folk at sd.

Beside that, have an other news to share. I've been offered a great job, with decent hours and a good pay. It's a typical investment role in an advisory capacity, but it requires some know how and expertise in international trade. Have a couple of months off before I join that I want to put to the best use. And yeah, It will also require relocation and other preparation. And probably I'll be really busy on the job once I take it up. But I'm happy and it's what I want to do professionally. Have a break the ice meeting with some folk from the company this Saturday. Hope all goes well.

Hope all is well with you good folk on SD and wish you all a great Lent.
Bible verses on walking blamelessly with God, after being forgiven from our former sins. Some verses here: https://dailyverses.net/blameless

"[2] He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:[3] He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.(Psalm 14)

"[2] For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man."(James 3)

"[14] And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations; [15] That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world." (Phil 2:14-15)

"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Xavier,

I will miss your wisdom here, but you are probably doing the better thing. Congratulations on your job!
[Matthew 8:26]  And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.

[Job  38:1-5]  Then the Lord answered Job out of a whirlwind, and said: [2] Who is this that wrappeth up sentences in unskillful words? [3] Gird up thy loins like a man: I will ask thee, and answer thou me. [4] Where wast thou when I laid up the foundations of the earth? tell me if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Jesus, Mary, I love Thee! Save souls!
