Woke up late. I'm a terrible good morning lady. Somehow the morning war cry, coming at 10 oclock, is like a lead baloon. Who cares by 10. It's almost time for lunch.
To board the struggle bus: no whining, board with a smile, a fake one will be found out and put off at next stop, no maps, no directions, going only one way, one destination. Follow all rules and you will arrive. Drop off at pearly gate. Bring nothing.

Thanks Orate, it seems I am in good company. Don't get why so tired, but can't say I don't enjoy sleeping in!

I would like to start a novena to St Teresa of Avila for Bernadette.  We don't know what is going on with her, but I do know that we can always use extra prayers.  If she is in need of them, here they are.  If not, you can't waste graces.  Hopefully our "Bird", as Carleen calls her, will be back with us again very soon.  In the mean time, we pray.  Please join me in saying this novena.  Following Orate's wonderful example, I will repost this every day.

Oh my Dymphna, I feel better already. As though whatever reason she's gone, at least I've done something for her. Maybe we can post bird pics until she comes back. Of course other pics are fine, just lots of birds. I am so happy to have a friend like you who knows how I feel. I could cry at her leaving but get such good virtual hugs from you, I wont. Too good to me.

It's such a glorious, beautiful day here. Chilly but warm to look at. Sun is full, skies clear, animals peaceful and lounging in the sun. A perfectly good day. Don't waste it!
