I would have recommended using that language as your base language. For example, Spasseeba = bitte.

My recommendation (in this order):

1) Duolingo 10 mins a day
2) search YouTube: A1 Learn German for Beginners: 65 videos at ~11 minutes each: one a day
3) https://www.schubert-verlag.de/aufgaben/uebungen_a1/a1_uebungen_index.htm: 10 - 15 minutes a day
4) If you have and want to practice die Aussprache per Signal, let me know after you have completed the above rubrics in 75 days.

Learning is a spiritual exercise, not a worldly one. These 20th Century teaching fads have created the crap planet we live in since they turn a soul nourishing pursuit into an empty utilitarian one. Stay away from that crap. Guy is probably a Jew.
