Greg

Been made a job offer as COO of an AI company who I have just landed a HUGE sale for.

So plenty of travelling to lots of weird places.

Gotta make time so forum has to go.

Good luck and may God  keep you safe. Remember to keep the faith and visit us from time to time. Drop an occasional bomb to cheer us up.

Congratulations  - stop in once in a while if you can.

Congratulations Greg!  That is wonderful news.  Further proof that hard work pays off.  But what will you do without us to entertain you?  I guess there is always foreign call centers...     Prayers for you and yours to have a good future.   :pray3:

Congrats, Greg!

You will be missed, and I hope you pop in every once in a while and say hello!

Ah well there goes a poster whose common sense approach to everything  (except Fatima) I looked up to.

God bless

That's a bummer.

Hope you can come back or drop in occasionally!

Congratulations on the new job, Greg.  A.I. is fascinating, but the quality of the forum is about to plummet.  You are one of the best posters of all time on these traditional Catholic forums.  Top five, no question.  I disagreed with you often, but I was always much more impressed with your intelligence and wit.  It's interesting that you've made your living in the finance and sales sector because you don't come across as craven and you're a very talented writer.  Good turns of phrase seem to come naturally to you.  I just "thanked" one of your recent posts today because you made mention of "dusky maidens of the orient" (great phrase) and spoke (with your usual amusing frankness) of your love of chaos and violence, and your hatred of Indian call centers.  And you don't write in long clumsy paragraphs.  You have an enviable economy of words; brevity is a deadly weapon in your hands.

This reference will probably be lost on a forum of people who likely consider Mad Men to be a rich slice of Hebraeo-Luciferian pornography, but you remind me of Roger Sterling, one of my favorite characters on that show: acid-tongued, brilliant, hilarious, brutally honest, and forever intolerant of stupidity and incompetence.  But there the comparisons cease, as Roger was not a Catholic and his second wife was a Jewish girl named Jane (spelled without a y, but still).  "I've always thought Jewish women are the most beautiful women in the world," he once said.  He was trying to get Manischewitz as a client, but nevertheless.  Dusky maidens of the orient indeed.

Anyway, may the rest of your days be as exciting as a "crazy Russian driver" video on YouTube.  I know you enjoy those.

My thank you is NOT for leaving. Just thanks for letting us know why you are leaving. You are going to be missed, truly. Your provocations, your straight up way expressing yourself. Your occasional exposure of that warm heart. Greg, we will never have another Greg. That's for sure! But, being what we are, you better check in from time to time, so we will be reminded to pray for you! God bless you and your endeavors. Keep the lying to a minimum... ;) But prayers for a good man  :pray3: From time to time say a prayer for us poor "sods" here.  ;)

All the best Greg.  I'm sure your updates will be interesting.  Let us know if you visit the orphanage again.  That was cool.

There is no longer a Holy Roman Emperor, even if the new Austrian chancellor is reasonable enough, so Greg will have to preside over the creation of an cyborg ai HRE Kaiser and Heer to handle Bergoglio, like what happened with appalling Popes of the past
