Seems like a bit of copium.  He's "friends" with Frangieh, the maronite candidate for President that is an ally  of Hezbollah, but "in touch" with the Maronite LFP.  I think this is a good dude.

This isn't an earth shattering appointment, and the Palestinians are still going to get screwed, but I'll take it.
