German expression "and so"...?

Is there a German expression for "and so"?  It's common amongst older folk here in WI, I used it quite a bit myself, and am wondering if it has its roots in German.  An example of it's use would be something along the lines of: "That was quite the blizzard yesterday!"  "Yeah, and so!"

Ein klassisches ,,Ja mei" geht wirklich immer. Denn der Bayer an sich hat zwar zu vielem eine Meinung, muss diese aber nicht immer gezwungenermaßen jedem mitteilen. Mit diesen zwei kleinen Worten kann er sich eigentlich zu allem äußern, was gerade besprochen wird. Eine weltweite Pandemie? Ja mei! Die 40 jährige Nachbarin hat sich jetzt einen 20 jährigen Gspusi geholt? Ja mei! Jacke zu Hause vergessen? Ja mei! Wird das Prinzip deutlich? Ja mei ist in Bayern irgendwie eine Reaktion auf alles. Denn es passt immer, es zeigt nicht zu viele Gefühle (was der Bayer an sich eh bissl ungern macht) und man hat trotzdem was gesagt. Außer wenn das Bier leer ist. Dann ist Grund zur Panik angesagt. Aber nach wie vor mit bayrischer Gmiatlichkeit. Eine gmiatliche Panik sozusagen. Ach Bayern...

Thanks!  That is very close to what I'm thinking of.  "And so!" goes with pretty much everything, just like "ja, mei!"
