We're coming up on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Forum.  Pretty cool beans.  I don't think I expected it to run a full decade.

Should I keep it going?

Of course you should keep it going!

I think that sites such as this are useful while the crisis of the Church issn't resolved.

Instaurare omnia

Nisi Dominus custodierit civitatem, frustra vigilat qui custodit eam (Psalm 126:2).
Benedicite, montes et colles, Domino: benedicite universa germinantia in terra, Domino (Daniel 3:75-76).
Put not your trust in princes: In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation (Psalm 145:2-3).

The Curt Jester

I thought this was another "End of the World" thread at first.  Glad it's not.

Yes, keep it going.  Might as well see if it can outlast apocalypse.
The royal feast was done; the King
Sought some new sport to banish care,
And to his jester cried: "Sir Fool,
Kneel now, and make for us a prayer!"

The jester doffed his cap and bells,
And stood the mocking court before;
They could not see the bitter smile
Behind the painted grin he wore.

He bowed his head, and bent his knee
Upon the Monarch's silken stool;
His pleading voice arose: "O Lord,
Be merciful to me, a fool!"

Yep.  A lot of work on your part though.  Thanks.

Please do, I cringe at some of my earlier posts and maybe I can say the same in 10 years time  8)

Yes definitely.

I didn't realise SD was only 10 tears old.  How would an online birthday party work? Is there such a thing?

I love this place and many of the people. Please keep it going.

In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

"My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"

If my Blood Pressure doesn't kill me reading X's posts, i hope to be on here for another decade.
"The World Must Conform to Our Lord and not He to it." Rev. Dennis Fahey CSSP

"My brothers, all of you, if you are condemned to see the triumph of evil, never applaud it. Never say to evil: you are good; to decadence: you are progess; to death: you are life. Sanctify yourselves in the times wherein God has placed you; bewail the evils and the disorders which God tolerates; oppose them with the energy of your works and your efforts, your life uncontaminated by error, free from being led astray, in such a way that having lived here below, united with the Spirit of the Lord, you will be admitted to be made but one with Him forever and ever: But he who is joined to the Lord is one in spirit." Cardinal Pie of Potiers

Please keep it going! It's a pretty fun and uplifting online community for the most part.

Yes. I would like to see the forum continue. I have learned a lot from this forum and it has prompted me to do more study on various Church issues such as SV and the current teachings of the Church as contrasted with past teachings.

Xavier

Yes, please do. Thanks for starting and maintaining it, Kaese. God Bless.
Bible verses on walking blamelessly with God, after being forgiven from our former sins. Some verses here: https://dailyverses.net/blameless

"[2] He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:[3] He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.(Psalm 14)

"[2] For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man."(James 3)

"[14] And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations; [15] That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world." (Phil 2:14-15)

I first joined the forum in college, things have certainly changed in 10 years.  Keep it going, to infinity and beyond!
