Is this an issue where you live? Two first graders are playing. One makes a gun out of his hand and says bang bang. He is suspended for terrorism.

Mountains of molehills.

Mountains of molehills.
Nonetheless you still consider that to be a molehill. Interesting.
"Nothing is more miserable than those people who never failed to attack their own salvation. When there was need to observe the Law, they trampled it under foot. Now that the Law has ceased to bind, they obstinately strive to observe it. What could be more pitiable that those who provoke God not only by transgressing the Law but also by keeping it? But at any rate the Jews say that they, too, adore God. God forbid that I say that. No Jew adores God! Who say so? The Son of God say so. For he said: "If you were to know my Father, you would also know me. But you neither know me nor do you know my Father". Could I produce a witness more trustworthy than the Son of God?"  St. John Chrysostom  Sunday Homily

"The two goals of the Jews: The universal domination of the world and the destruction of Catholicism, out of hatred for Christ" --Mgr. Jouin

First graders haven't even reached the age of reason.

Nonsense, I went running over the countryside and the woods with other boys, sticks in hand as 'swords', hare and hounds,  boxing or wrestling or what have you. Didn't do me the least bit of harm, a lot of good in fact. This is effete Modernism at work again - no wonder so many young men are 'soft' as they're prevented from being boys, for goodness' sake, by this nonsense!

Couldn't agree more.

Of course, I wasn't the one with sticks for swords -- but my male cousin and my classmates?  You bet!  The only instruction from adults was to keep the hits to the chest or lower to avoid poking out eyes.

I have heard it said that the education establishment is being run by frustrated feminists who think of boys as some kind of defective girl
