Title: This gives Poe's Law a run for its money...

The above link is to an expose at claims that the Moon is a hoax.

Not the Moon landings, mind you, but the Moon itself.

What this is I don't even

This can't be real. It just can't. It's gotta be someone making a (stupid) point or something.

You need just check the main page of the website. The whole thing is a satire of unqualified historical revisionists.

Poe's law, named after its author Nathan Poe, is an Internet adage reflecting the idea that without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism.[1]

It's a joke.

It has to be.

No one can be so stupid as to think that some moon conspiracy doctored primary sources all the way back into antiquity in order to match their hologram.

Edit -- Went digging around in the site some more -- one of their articles is entitled "Fuhrerpants."  I'm pretty sure that qualifies as clear indication of parody.

Second Edit -- Their expose of the Committee for Open Debate on Pants In Eastern and Central Europe seems legit, however.

Corollary to Second Edit -- I just turned this into a pants thread.   :-X

Second Corollary to Second Edit -- This post is so meta.
