One cannot pick and choose when it comes to infallibility.

A Saint is anyone who is heaven that can intercede for us.

I need all the help that I can get.

Eh, OS you're going to find that definition is very debatable.
Archer, may I please ask what definition?

This one.  A "Saint" also has heroic virtues and is worthy of imitation.  Do you suggest that we should imitate John Paul II?

No, one should not imitate these large mistakes made by St John Paul II.

However since Canonizations are an infallible act of the Magisterium, and Karol Wojtyla was Canonized, we know without any doubt he is in heaven beholding the face of God.

As such he can pray for me to avoid sin, if I ask.

We are in fundamental disagreement here.  I would say that JPII is not a Saint, wasn't really canonized, and probably cannot intercede for you, though it certainly won't hurt if you try.
You have your Truth and I have mine.

Which idol of ours said that? Ah, yes, Mahomet...

"Hold firmly that our faith is identical with that of the ancients. Deny this, and you dissolve the unity of the Church."
--St. Thomas Aquinas

"Neither the true faith nor eternal salvation is to be found outside the Holy Catholic Church."
--Pope Pius IX

"That the Conciliar Church is a schismatic Church, because it breaks with the Catholic Church that has always been. It has its new dogmas, its new priesthood, its new institutions, its new worship, all already condemned by the Church in many a document, official and definitive."
--Archbishop Lefebvre

Heliocentricism is idiocy.
