I found this huge bye-lo baby head from 1923 on a replacement body and picked it up cheap. It was dressed in a satin and polyester lace monstrosity from the 80s, so I redressed it in a daygown and slip that I made from an antique pattern. Now I'm in the process of making a new body and replacing the celluloid hand with bisque ones that I already had. Can't wait to see him when he's done! This is the largest size they made: the head circumference is nearly 17"!

I've got one from the 1870s. I always wonder about their owners through the years.
