If I was still between 17 and 30 years old, I would have definitely purchased this book.
It looks like the perfect book for a true blue Tolkien/LOTR geek.

Thank you and indeed it is! However, I disagree on the age; Tolkien himself said it was for 30-60 if I remember correctly, and I agree.

Of course, maybe I am just attempting to justify my obsession!

Its not that an older than 30 cannot enjoy the book; but that was my intense "Tolkien" era. I bought everything I could that had to do with LOTR and Tolkien.
