I don't necessarily suggesting reading any of this sickening stuff in too great detail, but it is suggestive that this is the sort of Francis thinks worthy of trust. You can tell something about someone by his friends. This is the man he calls his spiritual son.

Given many other things like the Antonio Provolo Institute scandal, of which Francis was repeatedly told, and ignored, it suggests Francis is afraid to set foot in Argentina. I doubt there are enough pederastic, homosexual socialsts there to cheer him.

This isn't utterly unexpected. The company Bergoglio has kept has been apparent for quite a while. There has been a lot on his trojan efforts to protect the convicted sex offender Fr Grassi while head of the Argentine Episcopal Conference. His very close friend Gustavo Vera, NGO boss and suspected rent boy trafficker and pimp is apparently down one less annoying whistleblower. Abp Viganò knows little would come from being suicided or committed (ie to an asylum) like many would be whistleblower priests. Perhaps Bergoglio might depart if more direct embarrassment were to appear through Argentine police going to Zanchetta's files, but the lewd old man is immune to shame,  and the System is still protecting him, ensuring his pretended abuse summit / synod or whatever isn't laughed at like it should be.
