Just a note: Chestertonian, this video might need a trigger warning for you, as it has flashing red and white images.
To Jesus through Mary.

Remember the Holy Souls!

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

can you honestly tell me you believe any trad anywhere would watch/listen to that and then become influenced to pursue a career in drug dealing, for example? really? no, man. no f$%#ing way.

Oh yes, countless millions of white kids have listened to rap music and have gotten caught up in the drug culture.

I am very close to a large traditional Catholic family who had an adult child die of a heroin overdose two years ago.

lol. i've lived my entire life amidst "drug culture" and i have never, ever seen anybody become involved in it because of music. how many keys have you sold since you watched that clip, Maximilian?

there are a number of reasons why people get involved with drugs, and ignoring those reasons in order to blame it on the music is actively causing that problem to become worse. i've seen a few Trads who became involved with drugs, and more still with alcohol problems, and i can tell you right now that every single one of them had issues in their home life directly related to candylanding.

the point i was making regarding that particular clip is that everybody i know who has seen any of that guy's clips (including drug users and dealers) thinks he is a f$%$ing idiot. they laugh at him.

by the way how is your motion to block Mother Aubert from canonisation and denounce her as a heretic coming along?

Did you just bring up candylanding?
The world is charged with the grandeur of God.
    It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;
    It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil
Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod?
Generations have trod, have trod, have trod;
    And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil;
    And wears man's smudge and shares man's smell: the soil
Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod.

And for all this, nature is never spent;
    There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;
And though the last lights off the black West went
    Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs —
Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
    World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.

Whew!
In conclusion, I can leave you with no better advice than that given after every sermon by Msgr Vincent Giammarino, who was pastor of St Michael's Church in Atlantic City in the 1950s:

    "My dear good people: Do what you have to do, When you're supposed to do it, The best way you can do it,   For the Love of God. Amen"
