Which browser are you using?
Firefox has Image Block (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/image-block/) to block images.

Seriously, though: forum should be like Reddit, where you can click on a pic to see it if you want, and ignore it otherwise. You know this is true, KK. :P Think how considerate it is. :)

Huh. I have mine set up to open pics in a new tab, and it seems fast enough. Probably depends on internet speed, though.

Oh, no, I mean the having to bother to click.
Problem solved! Note to self: often, the easiest way really is the best way. ;)

It surely is. :lol:
For anyone who wants to do this on Safari, you can set the browser to use this css:img{ display:none; }
and it'll block out a lot of the images. But it's a pain to disable it...

But r/fountainpens, though. :-\ And r/declutter was suuuper helpful for me. I think it's like anything else: the use that you actually put it to is what's most important. I've got my filters set so "high," that
nothing unwanted can creep in. And if something does come up that I cringe at, it immediately goes onto the filter list and I'm safe from it, in the future. I'm telling you: my own little "internet bubble." :lol:
R fountainpens is every tom, dick, and harry posting their cheap POS twsbi eco and the newest noodlers du jour.
Fountainpennetwork forum is where it's at! [emoji38]

Reddit is often regarded as liberal left biased, but no site has such well designed, easy to use, filters.

Must be why I feel so comfortable there. :P I love what I love, in fountain pens as in all other things, and I find other people's insistence on (what I feel to be) arbitrary standards in such matters to be...well..a waste of time for me. :shrug:
Go count the first few pages of the sub. Most posts are people posting the un boxing of a cheap pen as if it's something new and novel. Hardly anything of substance or use is posted.

Because to the poster, the cheap pen
is new and novel. ;) I find it endearing: it reminds me of when I got my first fountain pen at age 12 (a cheap Cross Solo, which I still have and use). :)
